ROMNEY NUDGES DOOR WIDER TO 2016 RUN

Wednesday, August 27th, 2014

While 2012 GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney has often said he does not plan to make a third attempt for the White House, a recent spate of favorable polls and some egging on by his former running mate might be causing him to reconsider. During a radio interview late Tuesday with radio host Hugh Hewitt, the former Massachusetts’s governor appeared to leave the door open saying, “I had the chance of running. I didn’t win. Someone else has a better chance than I do. And that’s what we believe, and that’s why I’m not running. You know, circumstances can change, but I’m just not going to let my head go there.”

What a terrible mistake if he runs and wins the nomination! Another Republican loss. Romney is a fine and brilliant man. But he is a poor campaigner.

An August Review,2014

Wednesday, August 27th, 2014

August, 2014, has been a bad month for the United States. ISIS––ISIL–– Islamic State, or whatever one wants to call it, is taunting the United States because it knows that the United States has retreated into a “paper tiger” mode.

The heinous crime –––   the beheading  of the American journalist, James Foley ––– will likely not be avenged. Obama threatens with words, but has refused to lay down a strategy to destroy these Islamic devils.

Recently, there have been suggestions that United States’ drones have been allowed to fly over Syria and that this might be a prelude to bombing, not only ISIL in Iraq, but also in Syria, where their main headquarters are said to reside. We shall see.

But there are other things happening, so many indeed that one doesn’t know where to start. So the following are reports on a few of them.
